 I fully support the concept of bursaries. I am extremely grateful to my parents who struggled to afford the fees to pay for my education at St. Paul’s . I am indebted to the teachers who enabled me to gain a place to study Medicine at KCH London. I enjoyed a 38 year career in General Practice.

 Widening access to SPGS benefits everyone. When I think of the wonderful students that I have worked with, who may not have come to the school without financial support, it reminds me just how important this is.  

 The bursary scheme at SPGS is, without doubt, one of its greatest assets. It contributes towards the richness and variety of the education on offer to all girls and, moving forwards, will ensure that the school remains at the forefront of girls' education in the years ahead.
